this jcrew cashmere sweater underneath this plenty frock! by Tracy Reese. i just don't know. the sweater is a lot more fitted than it looks in this picture and it isn't monogrammed. i've seen black turtlenecks underneath dresses lately. it's a great look and it sort of reminds me of something that would have been worn on my all time favorite show Rhoda. holiday parties are approaching and i hate having an adorable dress hidden under my coat all night. this way i would be warm and supercute. there would also be tights with this ensemble. i was thinking black with black heels. anyone have suggestions?

Hm...this is a toughie, tess, I can't imagine the two together to say whether or not it'll look good or not. But from what i've seen of other people wearing turtlenecks and dresses and tights, i think it just might work. Plus, if anyone could pull it off, it'd be you.

PS- crap! Why is nordstroms having their half yearly sale now?? WHY??????? I can't buy anymore shoes.
i love the dress and love the sweater, each individually. in re: them together? my motto these days is 'JUST PUT IT ON!' If you love it, it will show and will work for you. :)
